Speaking to the media, anti-corruption ASI Abdul Hameed said that Muhammad Yakoob Mirani had filed an application claiming that after his father's death, the ownership of his land was transferred to someone else.
The applicant went to the mukhtiarkar office and asked for the record of his land, the officials allegedly demanded Rs25,000 as bribe to rectify the record. The officer added that on Monday, the ACE caught the officials red-handed when Mirani gave them the money that they had demanded for.
