UBL head coach Nadeem Khan later confirmed that two players, right-arm fast-bowlers Adil Raza and Sadaf Mehdi are currently getting treatment for suffocation related problems at Ziauddin Hospital in Clifton.
After the tragic incident, Pakistani cricketers took to twitter to express condolences for the people who died in the fire outbreak.
One of the injured cricketers, Umar Amin, said he had never 'panicked as much as today'.

UBL, HBL match abandoned
The Quaid-e-Azam trophy match between UBL and HBL was abandoned due to the Regent Plaza incident where the former team's players were residing.
Nadeem Khan, manager of UBL, made a request to the Pakistan Cricket Board to abandon the match to which the cricket board replied affirmatively. Both teams have been awarded one point each.
