Murder charge: Man accused of killing son remanded
The accused will be produced before the court on Monday, the police said
HARIPUR:
A judicial magistrate has granted two-day physical remand of a man who allegedly shot dead his minor son, the police said on Sunday. Ghazi police said that Nasir Sardar, 12, was serving as an apprentice at a motor mechanic shop and refused to go to work one day for unknown reasons. His father, Sardar alias Dara, a resident of Khalo village, forced him to go but he declined, which infuriated Sardar, who shot him dead soon after. The police arrested Sardar on Saturday evening and obtained two-day physical remand from the magistrate’s court. The accused will be produced before the court on Monday, the police said.
