Gang rape: Schoolgirl accuses three accomplices of school's owner

HARIPUR:
A schoolgirl has accused three acquaintances of the owner of a private school of gang rape, the police said here on Sunday.
City police quoted K* a 9th grader at a private school in Haripur, as saying that on Saturday, school principal N*, told her to come to an empty classroom and to stay there. She said he then left her in the room and said he would be back shortly.
Soon after, she said three unidentified men raped her one after the other. She accused the school owner of being hand-in-glove with the alleged rapists. On the victim's complaint, the police registered a rape case against N and the three unidentified accomplices, but none of them had been arrested at the time this report was filed.
When approached for comment, Haripur Headquarters DSP Zakir Hussain confirmed the registration of a rape case, adding that the initial inquiry was under way.
