Pakistan Netball Federation announced its 12-member squad on Sunday

KARACHI: Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) announced its 12-member men’s netball team yesterday for the Asian Men’s Netball Championship to be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from December 9 to 11.

Moreover, the Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC), the government of Pakistan and the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) have issued their NOCs for the team’s participation in the said event, informed PNF President Mudassar Arain.

Netball: Sindh clinch women’s title


The team comprises of captain Muhammad Akhtar, Muhammad Zohair, Samad Masood, Umair Hassan, Ejazul Haque, Amir Rasheed, Fasialur Rehman, Zahid Iqbal, Abdul Haq, Usman Bashir, Khurshid Ahmed and Ali Raza, while Zahid Sultan has been included as a standby player.

Anwar Ahmed Ansari will also be traveling with the team as head coach, whereas Yasir Javed will be his assistant and Muhammad Riaz will serve as the team manager.
