After resuming their first innings on 16-0, NBP posted a total of 287 runs in 85.1 overs as Bashir bagged four wickets, while Muhammad Abbas and Nauman Ali took three wickets each.
NBP’s Rameez Raja Jr top-scored with a 205-ball 102; he was well-supported by Naveed Sarwar, who contributed 83 runs to his team’s tally. At the end of play, KRL were on 8-0, trailing by 35 runs.
Meanwhile at Hyderabad’s Arbab Niaz Stadium, Kamran Akmal scored 144 runs off 234 balls to help WAPDA post a strong first innings total of 353 in 137 overs.
Adnan Raees and Zulfiqar Babar also chipped in with 57 and 55 runs respectively, whereas SSGC’s Atif Jabbar took five wickets for 43 runs and Muhammad Irfan took two for 27.

At the end of play, SSGC were batting on 127-4, with Asif Zakir on 41 and Awais Zia on 49. Waqas Maqsood was the pick of WAPDA’s bowlers with figures of 3-25.
At the NBP Stadium, HBL amassed 486 in 97 overs against UBL thanks to centuries by Imran Farhat (133), Inamul Haq (129) and Abdul Rehman’s unbeaten 58.
For UBL, Mir Hamza took five wickets for 65 runs, while Muhammad Asghar and Yasim Murtaza bagged three and two wickets respectively. At the end of play, UBL had scored 20 without any loss from six overs.
In the round’s day-night fixture between SNGPL and Karachi Whites, the former scored 339-7 in 90 overs, thanks to an unbeaten 172-run innings by Iftikhar Ahmed, who faced 262 deliveries and hit 20 fours during his magnificent knock.
Adnan Akmal contributed with 79 runs off 99 balls, whereas Karachi Whites’ Tabish Khan took four wickets for 61 runs.
