India Women defeated Pakistan Women by 17 runs in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday to claim their sixth Women’s Asia Cup T20 trophy.
Opting to bat first, India posted a total for 121 for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Opener Mithali Raj remained unbeaten on 73 off 65 deliveries, while Jhulan Goswami (17) was the only other Indian player to reach double figures.

For Pakistan, Anam Amin claimed two wickets, whereas Sana Mir and Sadia Yousuf gained one scalp each.
In response, Pakistan made 104 for six wickets as captain Bismah Maroof top-scored for the team with a knock of 25 off 26 balls. Openers Ayesha Zafar and Javeria Khan made 15 and 22 respectively.

Ekta Bisht claimed two wickets for India with all other bowlers receiving one wicket apiece.
