Would love to visit 'fantastic' Pakistan, says Trump
Fatemi's visit comes as the first formal visit by a prime minister office's top official to the US after presidential elections.
The visit will take place following a telephonic conversation between PM Nawaz Sharif and Trump on Wednesday that attracted global attention due to its unusually candid and 'frank' tone, where Trump reportedly called Sharif a "terrific guy" who should feel free to call him any time.

Pakistan's Ambassador to the US Jalil Abbas Jilani briefed the media on Thursday regarding Fatemi's visit to the country. During the address, Jilani revealed that the special assistant will also meet officials of the outgoing Obama administration.
"He will also meet new US lawmakers elected last month,” Jilani said, adding that "This is a very important visit as much has happened in Washington since the Nov 8 elections.”
