Turkish Airlines announces fare discount for traders

Considers Pakistan a huge consumer market

RAWALPINDI: Turkish Airlines has announced attractive concessions for the business community on its operational routes all over the world and traders will explore new business avenues by availing themselves of the opportunity.

Turkish Airlines General Manager Yunus Mert stated this at the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Turkish Airlines.

RCCI President Raja Amer Iqbal and members of the executive committee were present at the ceremony.

Mert said Pakistan and Turkey had excellent relations in different sectors and keeping in view requirements of the business community, the airline had announced a special discount package including lower fares.

He emphasised that the airline wanted to bring Turkish businessmen to Pakistan as the South Asian nation had a huge consumer market with bright prospects of business and investment.

He said Turkish Airlines was providing best connections as it was flying to 160 countries covering 288 destinations around the world.

The RCCI president, while appreciating the offer of Turkish Airlines, voiced hope that it would further boost trade ties between the two countries.

Pakistan, Turkey ink MoU for promoting trade and exports

Under the agreement, discounts will be offered to RCCI members for travel around the world through Turkish Airlines. The package also includes an additional 10kg baggage relaxation under different categories.
