Fire erupts in chemical godown near Karachi's City Court

Fire brigade vehicles struggle to contain fire; no casualty reported so far

Fire erupted in a chemical godown near City Court, MA Jinnah Road in Karachi on Friday, police said.

Kharadar police station, in a statement, said fire tenders were trying to extinguish fire with different shops evacuated to avoid damage.



Traffic was badly affected as a gridlock was witnessed following the incident.

Congested roads leading to the market were making it difficult for the fire and ambulance vehicles to reach the incident site.
