Forged mark sheet: KU cancels student’s admission

Student Maryam Rao of the food science and technology department had submitted a forged intermediate mark sheet

Karachi University (KU) cancelled the admission of a student, Maryam Rao, daughter of Shahid Rauf Rao, of the food science and technology department for submitting a forged intermediate mark sheet, said KU admissions director Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi.

The decision was taken after verification from the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, he said. The student had taken admission in Bachelor’s of Science evening programme in 2014.
