Expressing solidarity: Special children pay tribute to APS martyrs
Present a tableau to pay their respects to the fallen

The Punjab University’s Child Welfare Centre organised an event to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Army Public School (APS) and express solidarity with special people.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab University Dean Faculty of Education Prof Dr Mumtaz Akhtar said on Thursday that Allah had bestowed special children with special capabilities and they were playing their role in development of society.
He added they needed to hone the skills of special children and take steps for their empowerment.
Special children presented a tableau to pay tribute to the APS martyrs and presented national songs as well as Sufiana Kalaam on the occasion.
Child Welfare Centre Principal Ayesha Wajihullah, Department of Special Education In charge Dr Humaira Banu, Punjab Welfare for Disabled Programme Director Dr Izhar Hashmi, faculty members and a large number of students attended the event.
