This is the 25th case in which Ishaq alias Bobby and Asim alias Capri have been remanded in less than a month of their arrest.
The accused are said to be affiliated with outlawed sectarian militants' organisation Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ).
The police obtained their six-day remand for questioning over their alleged involvement in the murder of Preedy police station SHO Ejaz Ali Khawaja.
He was gunned down on Korangi Road in April, last year. The investigation officer told the judge that the police have found evidence of the suspects' involvement in the killing and the accused also confessed during interrogation.
So far, the suspects have been implicated in a number of high-profile killings, including the murder of qawwal Amjad Sabri and four military police personnel. The suspects were arrested by the counter-terrorism department during a raid on a flat in Liaquatabad.
