According to the military's media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief made these remarks while visiting the field formation at Corp Headquarters in Peshawar and North Wazirastan Agency on Wednesday.

The COAS said the war against terror will continue with focused approach to root out all threats, [and] move ahead to consolidate gains made so far by the country's armed forces.

The ISPR said Gen Bajwa was given a detailed briefing at the headquarters about the prevailing situation in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, and Malakand Division.
The continuing combing operations and returning of temporarily displaced persons (TDPs) also came under discussion. "[The] TDPs should be assisted in all ways to resettle, respectfully,” the ISPR quoted the army chief as saying.
Paying tribute to tribesmen, officers, and soldiers, the army chief vowed that no terrorists will be allowed to return.
