Pakistan women's cricket team added another victory to their tally on Wednesday when they beat Bangladesh women’s team by nine wickets in the on-going Asian Cricket Council Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup in Asian Institute of Technology Ground, Bangkok.
Bangladesh, after opting to bat first, could only manage 44 runs in 15.3 courtesy Mir’s three-for. Only two Bangladesh players — captain Rumana Ahmed (11) and Jahanara Alam (12) — were able to enter double figures.

Aiman Anwar, meanwhile, bagged two wickets while Aliya Riaz, Anam Amin, Javeria Khan and Nida Dar were able to bag one scalp each.
In their chase, Pakistan lost their opener Ayesha Zafar cheaply for two runs off four balls but Javeria and Iram Javed then led the team past the finish line with 61 balls to spare.

Earlier, Pakistan beat Nepal and Sri Lanka in its initial two matches; however, Bismah Maroof and her team faced defeat against India on Tuesday.
If India, who are unbeaten until now in the tournament, can carry on without a defeat in the next two matches and Pakistan beat Thailand on December 3, then both arch-rivals will be set to appear in the final.
