Jahanzaib won all of the seven games while Shehroze finished with six victories and Yusuf ending up with five.
The event featured 23 schools from Karachi, with 30 players participating in the advanced category and 24 students took part in the junior competition.
“I feel good after beating all these other students,” Jahanzaib told The Express Tribune.
The Pakistan Scrabble Association (PSA) Vice-President Javaid Iqbal said that the competition level has improved significantly compared to last year’s event. He said that the PSA will send the top eight students of this championship to take part in the competitions that are scheduled to take place in Malaysia later this year.
