ISLAMABAD: Police on Tuesday recovered a missing teenager from a house near Park Enclave during a raid.

Officials however, are sceptical that the boy had been kidnapped. A couple had filed a complaint with Ramna police on Monday that their 17-year-old son* had allegedly been kidnapped and was being held at a house near Park Enclave.

Following the complaint, police on Tuesday raided the house and recovered the boy. They also arrested three people, including Mazhar Hayat, Sandal Ejaz and Zohaib Khan, during the raid.

However, police later said they were unsure whether he had been abducted or if he went the house on his own. Officials told The Express Tribune that while they had registered a kidnapping case, there  had been no demand for ransom from the suspects. They added that one of the suspects they had apprehended was a friend of the boy.

Ramna SHO inspector Irshad Ali Abro said that they were investigating the matter from all angles.
