NUML’s Confucius Institute was established in 2005 to promote the Chinese language and culture in Pakistan.
It aims to train not only students but also teachers in Chinese by offering dialect courses from basic business level to PhD level using multimedia, internet and various methods.
“Our institute has been ranked at the top among 300 institutes of the world due to the strength of our students and our programmes,” said NUML Spokesman Muddasir Mukhtar.
Confucius Institute pioneered the provision of Chinese language teachers and trainers to primary and high schools and colleges in Pakistan.
The Confucius Institute has established 13 teaching points and opened nearly 60 Chinese languages and culture curriculums, and caters to almost 2,000 students.
