Pakistan Test team slipped from second to fourth spot in the International Cricket Council’s Test team rankings on Tuesday after they were whitewashed 2-0 by New Zealand.
Pakistan, before going into the series against New Zealand, were on 109 points, however, defeats at Christchurch and Hamilton pushed them down to 102 points. Misbahul Haq's men lead South Africa (102) on decimal points.
Meanwhile, England (105) have moved up to the second position followed by Australia (105) on third, with the former leading on decimal points. India still lead the Test team rankings with 115 points on the board.
New Zealand (96), after beating Pakistan, have gained five points to move to the sixth position from seventh above Sri Lanka (96).
