Treacherous Curves : One dead as car falls off mountain

MUZAFFARABAD: A man was killed when his car swerved off the road and fell into a ravine near Muzaffarabad, police said. The deceased, later identified as Sadaqat a resident of the Domail area of Muzaffarabad, was heading to Muzaffarabad from Patika. When he was just 12 kilometers outside the capital city, driver apparently lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve and the car skidded off the mountainous road and plunged into a roadside gorge. Rescue workers rushed to the spot and pulled the body out from the wreckage shifted it to Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital. The body was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities. Sadaqt was later buried in his ancestral graveyard.
