According to earlier reports, she was to appear on the show alongside her Padmavati co-star Shahid Kapoor. But it looks like he’ll be sharing the Koffee couch with his wife Mira. No worries now that we can entertain the thought of having Vin Diesel on Karan's show siding Deeps.

This will be the perfect platform for Deepika and Vin to be seen together and promote the film. Also, Deepika’s boyfriend Ranveer Singh has already appeared on the show with Ranbir Kapoor. Besides, her next release is the Hollywood film, which is why the makers thought of getting them together on the show."
