HYDERABAD: Sindh information adviser Maula Bux Chandio has warned that the federal government is provoking Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to take to the streets by refusing to accept the party’s four-point demands. “The government is making a mistake by not accepting our four points,” said Chandio on Saturday. The PPP wants the enactment of the Panama Papers Inquiries Bill, 2016, implementation on the all parties conference’s recommendations with regard to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a parliamentary committee for oversight of the National Action Plan and appointment of a foreign minister. “Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has not made any difficult demand which makes the prime minister [Nawaz Sharif] feel that his chair is shaking,” he argued. Referring to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chandio said half of the opposition is already on the roads protesting against the PM over the Panama leaks. He warned if the PPP also held similar protests the door for a dialogue will slam shut on the government.
