MUZAFFARGARH: An eighth-grader girl was allegedly raped by the native landlord and his three accomplices in Muzaffargarh district on Saturday, police said.

According to police, a case of the incident has been registered under section 365-B of Pakistan Penal code against the four suspects and raids are being conducted to arrest them. Police added that the crime was also confirmed in the medical report.

Victim Samia's father Amin said that his daughter was abducted by the local landlord and his men as she was on her way home after school.

Amin also said that the culprits took her daughter to a farm house where they raped her and later left her in a critical condition in a nearby ground.

Later, he received a call from district hospital Muzaffargarh informing him that his daughter had been admitted. There were marks of torture and bruises on the girl's body, he added.

On Thursday, a trial court in Islamabad sentenced a man awarded life imprisonment to a man who repeatedly raped his 20-year-old daughter for four years.

On November 23, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the rape and torture of a 16-year-old girl in Sialkot and sought a report from Sialkot DPO in this regard. A man had slit the throat of a girl allegedly after he failed to subject the girl to sexual assault.

The victim's name changed to protect identity.
