Lpg Air Mix: SSGC, SNGPL to set up new plants

The private sector has also been allowed to establish its own LPG-air mix plants

ISLAMABAD: The Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) would set up over 60 LPG air mix plants in areas where natural gas supply does not exist. “The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has recently approved setting up of LPG-air mix plants in Murree, Awaran and Bella,” official sources told APP. The plants would be established at a cost of Rs1,353.29 million to be borne by SSGCL and SNGPL. The companies would set up the air mix plants in areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chitral, Gilgit-Baltistan and areas of Balochistan. The private sector has also been allowed to establish its own LPG-air mix plants.
