Retaliatory fire by Pakistan Army kills six Indian soldiers
At least four civilians were killed in Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC) on Monday.
According to the ISPR, four civilians embraced martyrdom, and 10 others were injured in different sectors along the de facto border.
“There are reports of heavy casualties of Indian soldiers due to effective retaliatory fire by Pakistani troops,” the military’s media wing said. “Six Indian soldiers have been confirmed killed till now.”

Meanwhile, the Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh was summoned to the Foreign Office in protest of the violation. “The Deputy High Commissioner was told that the deliberate targeting of civilian populated areas was highly deplorable,” the Foreign Office said.
