Pakistan Test captain Misbahul Haq will be returning home from New Zealand because of the sad demise of his father-in-law.
The 42-year-old's wife confirmed the sad news on Twitter and asked everyone for prayers for her father.
Earlier, Misbah, along with his family, decided to return home following the news of his father-in-law being critically ill.

Misbah, who has capped Pakistan in 69 Tests, is unlikely to participate in the second Test against New Zealand in Hamilton, which begins on Friday.
Pakistan lost the first of two-match Test series against New Zealand in Christchurch on Sunday, as they were defeated by eight wickets by the hosts during the fourth day's play.
"Misbah's been exceptional throughout the years and we'll miss him definitely," said vice-captain Azhar Ali in post-match press conference at Hagley Oval.
Win or lose, Misbah should stay
"We have to cope with that now and whoever comes into the side will take that opportunity and give us runs, as well as the stability he gives us in the middle," he added.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar Khan announced that Azhar will lead the side in the second Test against New Zealand.
