SARGODHA/ GUJAR KHAN: At least two persons were killed in separate road accidents in the precincts of Bhagtanwala and Sillanwali police stations on Friday.

Police said Muhammad Naeem, a resident of Chak 42, and his brother Wasim were riding a motorcycle when a speedy truck hit them on Sargodha Road.

As a result, Naeem died on the spot while Wasim suffered injuries. In another incident, Muhammad Riaz was killed when a rickshaw hit his motorcycle near Chak 121.

In another incident, a car driver died in a road mishap as his vehicle plunged into a ravine in Gujar Khan. Police said the victim, identified as Rehmat Deen, was going towards Islampura Jabar in his car when it plunged into a deep ravine due to speeding.

Resultantly, he sustained serious injuries and was shifted to nearby local hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
