Industrial concerns: Government to beef up security

Government assures industrialists of Site that it is taking steps to improve security in the industrial zone.

KARACHI: The government has assured industrialists of the Site Association of Trade and Industry that it is taking steps to improve the security situation in the industrial zone.

Disclosing this, Association Chairman Wahab Lakhani  said that government officials had declined to depute Rangers in the industrial zone, but  said they will enhance police capacity and performance. “We hope that the efforts will help control the security problems,” he added.
