ProQuest 2016 (Quest for the Best) was held at UBIT, University of Karachi. The competition was held in 16 different categories among Computer Science students of 24 institutions and universities of Karachi. More than 800 students of 300 teams participated in the competition. In the finals, Pakistan Air Force Karachi Institute of Economics & Technology emerged as the overall best university and was declared the winner of ProQuest 2016. Ex-Director UBIT Prof Dr SM Aqil Burney, while awarding the General Trophy to PAF-KIET, the champions of ProQuest 2016, congratulated their participating team members, teachers and management for their hard-earned victory. Earlier, PAF-KIET team secured first position in the network design competition and second positions in Algo-mania and Bloggers’ Bash.
