MULTAN: Hundreds of traders, political activists and people from all walks of life protested at Cantt police station chowk on Tuesday against Indian aggression after the latter’s violation at the Line of Control (LOC) resulted in the killing of seven soldiers of the Pakistan Army.

Member of Anjuman-e-Tajiraan Sheikh Iqbal Hussain said international community is a silent spectator of Indian brutalities. India is trying to hide its human rights violations in Kashmir by increasing aggression at the LOC, he added.

Small Traders Association Vice President Sultan Lodhi said that all the watchdog organisations, including the United Nations and the Amnesty International have failed to stop the Indian atrocities. “We demand international community to restrict India and impose strict sanctions on her because of their cruelties in Indian held Kashmir,” he said.

Another protest was held on Khanewal Road under the aegis of Muslim League Nawaz Youth Wing.
