About 20 people participated in the paragliding activity which was organised in Misri Banda Akora Khatak. Participants were given ground paragliding training session at Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar on Saturday by professional flight instructors.

Addressing the media on Sunday, the provincial secretary for tourism said that TCKP wished to encourage the youth to participate in various recreational activities. “Our aim is to provide the best opportunities for public to progress in adventurous activities as quickly as possible in a relaxed and friendly environment where safety is paramount," he said.
TCKP is set to organise four more paragliding events on November 19-20, December 3-4, December 16-17 and December 30-31. The registration fee for the activity is Rs3,000 per participant.

Each participant will also be provided with transportation, food and first-aid kit along with some other facilities during the events. Registration forms for the next session is available on the website.
