KARACHI: An official of the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) was gunned down on Wednesday night within the limits of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station.

Police officials said the incident took place near Safari Park when the victim, 41-year-old Naseer Khan was waiting for his friend. Two armed men on a motorcycle shot Khan in the chest. He was taken to Jinnah Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. SHO Kansan Dean said the deceased used to work in SSGC as a supervisor and was also a member of their union. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
