LAHORE: Entrepreneurship is a capacity and willingness to develop, organise, and manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit.

This was said by corporate trainer Prof Dr Ali Sajid at a workshop organised by the Punjab University Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) on entrepreneurship for the students of faculty of Engineering and Technology and faculty of Economics and Management.

“Entrepreneurship is a process of designing, launching and running a new business which typically begins as a small business, such as a start-up company, offering a product, process or service for sale or hire, and the people who do so are called entrepreneurs,” he said while addressing the participants.

He said that the subject typically focused on the launching and running of businesses.
