Foundation Public School (FPS) commenced a three-day programme, FPS Ignite, at its A-level campus in Karachi on Friday.

The programme is aimed at inculcating and developing entrepreneurial skills in students. For this programme, 125 students have been selected from FPS's 25 branches across the country.

The students have been divided into groups, each comprising five students. Each group will be tasked with creating a product but has been given a short deadline of three days in which they must complete the task.

FPS executive director Fatima Obaid said the school has been inculcating business and marketing skills in its students for the last 35 years. FPS principal Saima Raza said most of the students at her school have proven their mettle in business as well as marketing.

She said a comprehensive system is in place at the school to achieve this aim of making their students able to succeed in an entrepreneurial setting. The programme will continue till Sunday.
