LAHORE: The Lahore High Court will hear the petition filed by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) against the inquiry panel formed to probe the controversial news leak on national security on November 14. The LHC office had earlier raised objections over the plea for some missing documents. But LHC Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah fixed the plea on Friday after the removing the objection. The writ petition was filed seeking court orders for removing the lead investigator of the probe committee, contending the head of the panel had personal relations with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief and his family. The petitioner had requested the court to order the government to hand over the responsibility of investigating the controversial news leak to an acting judge.
