With a target of 310, Pakistan got off to a shaky start when Ayesha Zafar was dismissed for two. However, opener Nahida Khan, along with Nain Abidi, was able to steady the ship for the visitors, putting up 76 runs for the second wicket before Nain was dismissed for 45.
Nahida was later out for 33, whereas Bismah Maroof and Asmavia Iqbal remained unbeaten on 30 and 18 respectively.
For New Zealand, Suzie was able to claim two wickets, whereas Thamsyn Newton and Hannah Rowe got one scalp each.
Both the sides had to come off the field as rain started to fall during the 35th over and the hosts were awarded a 60-run victory.
