Two boys raped in Mansehra
Police said they have arrested Shah, but Mohsin remains at large
MANSEHRA:
Two adolescent boys were raped in separate incidents in the urban limits, police said on Thursday.
Medical reports confirmed that the boys had been sexually assaulted, while one of the alleged rapists has been arrested.
However, the other suspect is still at large. Mansehra police said that 11-year-old Zafar*, a resident of Mohallah Chakriyali, told them that he was going to the bakery near Punjab Chowk to get bread on Wednesday when he was intercepted by Mohsin Latif, a resident of Mohallah Nogazi.
Mohsin allegedly dragged Zafar into a house where he sexually assaulted him. In the second incident, which also occurred on Wednesday evening, 13-year-old Fakhir* accused car dealer Mubarak Shah of raping him.
Fakhir told police that Shah took him to a showroom near Shahnawaz Chowk where he sexually assaulted the teenager.
Police registered criminal cases against the accused under Section 377 (Offence of Sodomy) and 151 of the PPC.
Police said they have arrested Shah, but Mohsin remains at large.
