MQM denies ‘secret meeting’ with Musharraf
Hasan met Musharraf in Dubai and discussed some political matters

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) - Pakistan denied on Tuesday reports that the party leader, Khawaja Izharul Hasan, held a 'secret political' meeting with former president Pervez Musharraf in Dubai recently.
It was said that Hasan met Musharraf in Dubai and discussed some political matters including the situation after the August 23 press conference of MQM-Pakistan convener Farooq Sattar.
MQM 'breaks off' from Altaf
The reports, which could not be verified independently, added that the Sindh opposition leader delivered an important message from Sattar to the former president and offered form an alliance with him. The MQM-Pakistan Coordination Committee in a statement denied that a political alliance with any of the leaders or political parties was under consideration.
