Sources revealed to The Express Tribune that Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has summoned the meeting of the commission on November 10 to consider the nominees for appointment as six additional judges in the high court.
They said the SHC chief justice has recommended the names of Fahim Ahmad Siddiqqui and Khadim Hussain Tunio, who are sessions judges in Sindh. Likewise, the names of Umar Sial, Irfan Ahmad Quraishi and Abdul Rahim Memon have also been initiated for elevation as additional judges against vacancies in the court.
With the appointment of six more judges, the SHC will attain its full strength of 40.
