Puzzling response by Foreign Office

One wonders why the court has allowed so much time to the government in this matter.

KARACHI: One is puzzled by the response of the Foreign Office in the court case regarding Raymond Davis where it has sought three more weeks to respond to a request by the court to ascertain whether Mr Davis qualifies for diplomatic immunity. It is puzzling quite simply because former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said on record that he was told by the very same Foreign Office that the American did not have blanket diplomatic immunity. Also, one wonders why the court has allowed so much time to the government in this matter.
