The lawmakers of the party said Khattak's comments during his march to Islamabad were against the 'integrity' of Pakistan.
"We demand action against the K-P chief minister under Article 6," stated the resolution, submitted by Moin Amar Pirzada, Naila Munir and Qamar Abbas Rizvi.
"Khattak used derogatory language against Pakistan and played the ethnic card," said MPA Pirzada, adding that he also threatened the federal government of dire consequences and used abusive language against the state, its institutions and the prime minister.
"In our resolution, we demand to lodge a case of high treason against Khattak with a speedy trial," said Pirzada, adding that they will also try to convince other political parties to support their resolution in the upcoming assembly session.
