Cost of national security

Exposing national secrets demands review, no matter who it is

QUETTA: The Cyril Almeida report pointed fingers at the role of security forces in the war against terrorism. The material in the report is a question mark on the sacrifices thousands of civilians and security forces rendered for the country. It questions the efforts and implementation of the national security plan. It seems as if some are trying to make the process of fighting terrorism controversial, contradictory and provocative. Removing Pervez Rashid is just a face-saving effort.

Because no one has taken hard decisions against traitors in the past, Pakistan has been facing treason acts for a long time. Exposing national secrets demands review, no matter who it is.
