Policy being formulated

the ministry has started consultations with key labour market stakeholders in provinces to get their feedback.

KARACHI: The Federal Ministry of Labour and Manpower is formulating a national policy on home-based workers which may be finalised in the first half of the current year, stated a representative of the ministry at a provincial consultative workshop here on Monday.

For this purpose, the ministry has started a series of consultations with key labour market stakeholders in provinces to get their feedback on the draft policy in view of the 18th Constitutional Amendment, he said.
