Bollywood actor Lisa Haydon perfectly shut down an Indian newspaper after they called her out for marrying a 'Pakistani.'

Haydon recently tied the knot with her boyfriend Dino Lalvani in a dreamy private wedding in Thailand. But things did not settle well with an Indian paper.

This is what Alia Bhatt would do if stuck in an elevator with Sidharth Malhotra

DNA India published a feature on cross-border marriages and called Lisa's new family 'Pakistanis' although they are Indians. In addition to that, they added quotes on how she was a misfit in the industry and how Bollywood wouldn't mind bidding her goodbye post marriage.

Naturally, this did not go down too well with Haydon and she slammed the article by tweeting a thread on Twitter.

You won't believe how fans reacted to SRK's cameo in ADHM

"Lisa will happily bid goodbye to Bollywood and Bollywood won’t mind saying goodbye to her," reported DNA India. The Queen actor responded saying:

More power to to you, Lisa!
