Fatal accident: Four killed after car falls off bridge near Mardan

Adil, his wife Muneeba and minor daughter Rimsha were shifted to a local hospital

HARIPUR: Four members of a family, including three minor girls, were killed while a couple and their daughter were critically injured when their car fell off a bridge near Mardan, family sources said on Sunday evening.

Haji Sadiq a resident of Makhan Colony Haripur recounted that his son, 38-year-old Adil, was on the way to Peshawar with his four daughters, wife and mother in his car.

They were near the Mardan interchange on the Motorway when a speeding Datsun pick-up, plying on the wrong side, hit their car head on.

As a result of the collision, their car was pushed off the bridge and plunged into the deep ravine below.

Sadiq, added that Adil's three daughters Alveena, Urfa, Ambrin and Adil's mother Rukhsana Bibi died on the spot.

Adil, his wife Muneeba and minor daughter Rimsha were shifted to a local hospital in critical condition and have been and referred to Peshawar.
