Republican candidate Donald Trump has released a campaign video in which he speaks in Hindi to grab the attention of Indian-American voters.

Trump's Hollywood star vandalized

The ad kicks off with a text wishing the audience a 'Happy Diwali' and shows the US Republican presidential candidate lighting a lamp at the charity event he recently attended. The event was star studded and many Bollywood celebrities performed at the Republican Hindu Coalition event.

"The Indian and Hindu community will have a true friend in the White House," Trump said during the event. He is also heard saying,"We will defeat radical Islamic terrorism," as the video shows a picture of the November 2008 terror attack in Mumbai, India.

However, the highlight of the video was Trump saying, "Ab ki baar Trump sarkar," which translates to "This time Trump will run the government".

The advertisement closes with Trump saying,"We love the Hindus, we love India."

The ad has been running on all Indian-American channels 20 times a day, the campaign manager told Buzzfeed.

“We wanted to reach out to Hindu-Americans to let everybody know that he loves Hindus, he loves India and he is looking forward to getting that message out that he identifies with Hindus,” Kumar said.

Kulbhushan Yadav | 7 years ago | Reply Trump or no trump, Pakistan would be in tough position with US. Democratic are giving hard time to Pakistan and then imagine what Republican would do for Pakistan's treachery that has got so many of US troops killed.
