Only a witch can talk this way, says Khursheed Shah
Shah reiterated that the main responsibility for the protection of workers lies with PTI chief Imran Khan
HYDERABAD:
Advising restraint, leader of the opposition in National Assembly Khursheed Shah has cautioned that the PTI’s upcoming protest movement in Islamabad may result in violence and can lead to the system’s derailment. He was talking to the media in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
“I read a politician’s statement who said movements required blood. If movements require blood then leaders should be the first to give it and not the workers. But they want the blood of children. I think only a witch can talk this way.” Shah reiterated that the main responsibility for the protection of workers lies with PTI chief Imran Khan.
NA speaker turns the tables on PTI
Responding to a query about the appointment of a new army chief of staff, Shah bemoaned that the prime minister has delayed the decision. “The decision [about new COAS] should have been made at least 15 days ago.”
Regarding the Panama leaks inquiry, Shah said the PML-N delegation which met him in Islamabad on October 25 accepted three of the PPP’s four demands. PPP leader Qamar Zaman Qaira also spoke on the occasion.
