KARACHI: The second annual InStyle Awards kicked off in Los Angeles this week and turned into an unforgettable night for celebrities and fashion enthusiasts, with ample star power and some mouth-watering styles statements.

Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra and Hollywood A-lister Nicole Kidman were among the attendees that were honoured for their indelible style. Here’s how the two leading ladies – who have, admittedly, not been looking their best of late – left us floored this time with their picture perfect ensembles.

Nicole Kidman

The 49-year-old actor stunned in a black Atelier Versace gown, complete with a dreamy pink satin draping falling down its front. The one-sleeve outfit made her already-prominent collar bone even more noticeable. We love how Kidman opted for minimal makeup, including thin eyeliner and a nude pout, and tied her hair in an updo, keeping the focus on her dress. Not only did she look every bit the fashion icon at the event but she also provided serious relationship goals by gracing the red carpet hand in hand with husband Keith Urban. Kidman completed her look in a pair of black strappy pump heels.

Priyanka Chopra

While the asymmetrical teal and black look that the Quantico star was spotted wearing may have seemed like an out-of-the-blue choice for her but she topped our list for finally opting for something other than a voluminous gown. Chopra was glowing in a two-tone Haider Ackermann one-shoulder top coupled with a fitted black skirt with an edgy exposed zipper. Needless to say, she was a suitable choice for the Breakthrough Style Star award that she won on the occasion. The B-town girl accessorised her look with Jimmy Choo heels and jewellery from Repossi.
