Mastung violence: Four killed over an old enmity

Police rushed to the spot soon after and cordoned off the area

QUETTA: Four people were gunned down and another was injured in the main bazaar near the bus stop area in Mastung on Tuesday. According to the SSP Mastung Waheedur Rehman Khatak unidentified men riding a motorcycle opened fire on a vehicle in the main bazaar. As a result four people were killed on the spot and another was injured. Police rushed to the spot soon after and cordoned off the area. The deceased and the injured were shifted to the Nawab Ghous Baksh Raisani Hospital for treatment. The SSP said, “the victims belonged to the Bangulzai tribe and the cause of the incident was old enmity.”
