Addressing the cheque-distribution ceremony, Minister of Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf appreciated NAB’s efforts in actively pursuing corruption cases and recovering the embezzled money.
Yousaf highlighted the efforts made in eliminating corruption in Hajj programme. He urged the people to invest only in the government approved banking system and investment companies.
NAB Rawalpindi Director General Zahir Shah re-iterated that the accountability body will continue to pursue the corrupt. Under the leadership of NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudary, he said that Pakistan can be made corruption free.
